Chocolate-Almond Milk

Got milk? Remember the ad? It was brilliantly done and milk was everywhere when I was a kid. Drinking milk (organic was not a readily available option back then, but I dating myself) was seen as a healthy and important part of a child’s diet. To top it off, I would spoon in malted chocolate powder cleverly advertised with “minerals and vitamins” thinking I was doing my body a huge favor. Instead, I was often left feeling energy-zapped after the initial sugar high.

This chocolate almond milk is sweetened with dates and made with raw cacao powder with real minerals and vitamins and antioxidants to boot. It is delicious, creamy, and also has protein so you won’t be on a blood-sugar rollercoaster.
